A single regular seed of Ice Cream Haze was grown indoors in Germany by GoodTimesOrganic. As the pictures show, a fantastically frosty, potent and pungent female plant was produced. Ice Cream Haze received a 10/10 strain rating, with numerous long chunky blooms and the trademark screaming-loud candy flavours. THC levels up to 25% come as standard. Here are a couple of comments from the grower, here is the original grow diary.
From seed to 10 stars: Ice Cream Haze regular indoor grow review by GoodTimesOrganic

One of the top strains, my pheno was unbelievably fast to finish and the aroma is truly first-class sweet… Like confectionery!

One of the sweetest varieties I have ever planted or smelled. The plant is heavily covered with trichomes, which does justice to the name Ice Cream Haze. The aroma is simply overwhelming.

The Ice Cream Haze performed mega and the aroma profile is indescribable.
Ice Cream Haze grown with topping & supercropping

Grow tent: 1.2 x 1.2m (4 x 4ft)
Grow lights: SANlight Q6W Gen2
Nutrients: BioTabs slow-release organic nutrients were used alongside Canna nutrients
Container: 4-litre (0.9 gal) soil container during veg. 12-litre (2.6 gal) soil container in bloom.
Vegetative stage length: 5 weeks
Flowering stage length: 8 weeks
Height at the end of veg: 30cm (1 ft). Note the plant was topped around week 4.
Height at the end of bloom: 1.55m (5ft). Note the plant was super cropped and some stems bent over during bloom.
Notable issues: Slight infestation of thrips. Predator mites & hover-fly larvae were ordered online to deal with the issue.
Vegetative growth review

GoodTimesOrganics created great indoor conditions for his Ice Cream Haze plant to thrive. Initially he was concerned about the slightly unusual twisted leaf structure during the first few weeks of the vegetative growth phase. The plants grew out of it and by week 4-5 were looking fine. A slightly whirled/twisted leaf structure can be associated with certain genetic lines, including Ice Cream Haze, and should not worry the grower.

The Ice Cream Haze was topped after a month (or so). This involves removing the growth tip to produce a bushier plant with more side blooms. After 5 weeks of veg, and the process of cannabis topping, the Ice Cream Haze was 30cm/1ft tall.

The whole plant has shown enormous growth and has recovered splendidly. It is now putting on a proper stretch after I topped it for the first time.
During veg, Ice Cream Haze was given 18 hours of daily light with lights-on temperatures around 23ºC / 73F. The LED’s were around 40cm/16. from the the plant. No smell was produced by the plant during veg, but this would soon change during bloom….
Bloom phase review

Ice Cream Haze was created by multi-cannabis cup winning independent breeder Antonio in association with Dutch Passion to deliver extremely high THC levels alongside an exceptionally terpy candy flavour.
The pungent confectionary sweetness really delivered as bloom developed. Despite some bending and supercropping the Ice Cream Haze grew from 30cm (1ft) to 155cm (5ft) with numerous long blooms.

GoodTimesOrganic worked hard to achieve a level canopy. The effort was rewarded as numerous heavy blooms began to develop in the optical sweet spot below the LED. Stretch was largely complete after 3-4 weeks of the cannabis bloom phase and the aroma intensified dramatically as bloom evolved.

Sweet, a bit like cotton candy and chocolate fruits with a light lemon haze aroma. Very many sparkling trichomes and glittering sugar leaves.

A real eye-catcher. The aroma profile ranges from super sweet candy or lollipop tones to a creamy sweet cake with honey and a hint of exotic fruits.

I had expected a flowering time of more like 9 or 10 weeks due to the Haze influence. But after 8 weeks of bloom, it’s done!

The trichomes speak for themselves… A little transparent, many milky, and already some amber.

A very sweet and floral scent with nuances of exotic fruits. Candies, lollies, and fruit cocktail. The yield is great and the trichomes are super frosty and honestly an extra extravagance that I have rarely seen. During the smoke test, I was then surprised that a good and strong haze aroma comes to the forefront.

Ice Cream Haze – top marks for potency, yield & flavour!

The pictures show the density of the trichome frosting on the buds and many of the leaves too. The 8-week bloom is fast. It’s rare to get a cannabis seed variety that delivers XL yields, scorching THC levels and genuinely exceptional taste all with a brisk 8-week bloom time. Ice Cream Haze is one of the most special varieties from Dutch Passion in recent years. Such is the demand for the genetics that she is available in both feminised seeds and regular seeds. Regular seeds often being more popular with older-school growers.

In Germany, the legal limit for home possession is 50g of cannabis. Since this is routinely exceeded by many growers, harvest weights are often not given or listed at 49g. But there were no complaints about yield from the grower!
Ice Cream Haze seeds, while stocks last!

If you want a new favourite sativa-dominant strain that delivers dank buds with off-the-scale pungency and a powerful high, there are few finer than Ice Cream Haze. The effects are energetic, euphoric and uplifting.
A real stressbuster. And one of the best tasting strains in recent years with terpenes that drip and pop. Roll a joint and you can hear the oil-soaked terpy weed sizzle as it burns.
