Weedig_Weedigson grew 2 Melonade Runtz feminised seeds indoors under Sanlight Evo 3-80 LED and was so impressed with the premium potency buds that he awarded a 10/10 strain rating.
The grow was performed in 11 litre / 2.4 gal containers of coco fibre with Plagron Coco nutrients. A 4-week period of vegetative growth was followed by 8 weeks of cannabis bloom, giving a total grow cycle of 12 weeks.
Some cannabis low stress training (LST) was performed with defoliation and topping. The final claimed dry harvest was 49.9g /1.8oz, 0.1g under the legal limit for Germany!

Week 2: All of them have germinated but unfortunately there is a slightly stunted plant that was thrown away.
Week 4: I have chosen the best 2 out of 3. Man, they smell great! In the coming week all the plants will get new pots with Cocos and Plagron Cocos A&B.
Week 5: (week 1 flowering) They are getting more and more beautiful.
Week 6 (week 2 flowering): They are still stretching here too.
Week 7 (week 3 flowering): Big plants. But they smell very different. One is more biscuit-like, earthy. The other is more in the tropical biscuit direction.
Week 8 (week 4 flowering): So far super-resinous and smell fantastic.
Week 9 (week 5 flowering): The 2 are very different but so saturated with resin… they smell amazing.
Week 10 (week 6 flowering): Super lemony, super sticky, I’d love more!
Week 11 (week 7 flowering): These 2 babes are the “winners” in the grow so far. Everything just fits! Scent, growth, this exaggerated resin! Wow!
Week 12 (week 8 flowering – harvest time): One of the most resinous beasts I’ve had so far. Both smell of melon/citrus/sweet. I will make a nice portion of BHO (Butane Honey Oil, a cannabis concentrate) from the leftover trim.
With a straightforward and uneventful grow, Melonade Runtz showed why so many growers rely on her for predictable and reliable high THC harvests.
She grows with remarkable ease across such a wide range of grow conditions that Melonade Runtz fully deserves her reputation as a wide-latitude, easy-to-grow feminised seed variety.
With proven, stable genetics, a 10/10 potency rating (THC levels typically hover around 20-25%) and a fast 8-week bloom there is a great deal to like about Melonade Runtz. She is one of the most powerful varieties from the USA cannabis seed collection with a delicious tropical fruit/creamy taste.

Auto Melonade Runtz (autoflower seed variety) uses the same highly-sought-after Melonade Runtz genetics featured in the previous grow review, but in autoflower form.
Canariangrow92 harvested 100g /3.5oz of dry bud from his three Auto Melonade Runtz plants in an 11-week indoor grow cycle using 7-litre (1.5gal) containers of soil & 240W of LED. The Auto Melonade Runtz were grown naturally, with no plant training.
Canariangrow92 was so impressed with the quality of the buds (and the ease of grow) that he awarded Auto Melonade Runtz a 10/10 strain rating describing her as “an amazing smoke !”
Germination: Starting this diary from Dutch Passion for the indoor competition 2024 We are planning to grow these girls using only organic nutrients for an optimal flavour for these Auto Melonade Runtz. Good expectations with this one as Dutch Passion never disappoint. We germinate the 11th of August directly in water with some drops of peroxide. They sprouted in a couple of days
Week 1 VEG: The first week of veg for our Auto Melonade Runtz from Dutch Passion. We prepared a light mix soil with organic nutrients which creates a nice micro biome in the soil with mycelium. We used 7 litre pots for the girls and directly placed them in the final pot to avoid transplants – as these girls are Auto and we prefer to not stress them too much.
Week 2 VEG: We have only 1 week left and the girls will start to flower. Next week we will add some silica and amino to the soil, this week we added some root supplements as we want the girls to expand as quickly as possible before flowering.
Week 3 VEG: Amazing progress this week for our Auto Melonade Runtz from Dutch Passion! We gave some silica this week and we added some Amino from Xpert nutrients. We continue with organic nutrients and also sprayed with neem oil against fungus gnats, to reduce their numbers a little. For the rest only water.
Week 4 – Week 1 Flowering: Week 1 of flowering is just over for our Auto Melonade Runtz from Dutch Passion The stretching is amazing; they really doubled or even tripled their size. We are adding some bloom nutrients now – let’s see the buds starting to appear the next weeks.
Week 5 – Week 2 Flowering: Week 2 flowering is just over and the Auto Melonade Runtz is doing good! We gave some bloom booster from Xpert nutrients this week and will continue with sugars and sticky fingers now.
Week 6 – Week 3 Flowering: Week 3 flowering for our Auto Melonade Runtz from Dutch Passion. We provided sugars and sticky fingers combined with booster. All looking good at the moment and the buds are showing a nice long structure! All green and good.
Week 7 – Week 4 Flowering: Week 4 flowering already and the Auto Melonade Runtz are getting fatter and fatter. They grow really quick so in no time they are approaching harvest, over halfway through! We continue with Xpert nutrients during this week, and they’ve really swelled. So at the moment, we are heading in the right direction. We already notice some nice fruity terpenes coming through!
Week 8 – Week 5 Flowering: Week 5 flowering for the Auto Melonade Runtz The flowers are getting bigger and showing more trichomes. We continue to feed them with Xpert nutrients and provide bloom booster, sticky fingers and sugar shot. Nice, sweet terpenes are appreciated already. If we continue like this in around 1-2 weeks we will harvest.
Week 9 – Week 6 Flowering: Week 6 flowering for our Auto Melonade Runtz from Dutch Passion. We continued with sugars and sticky fingers, adding also some silica and aminos. The buds are getting harder and more trichomes are appearing, the plants have a very nice fruity and sweet scent. The next week we will continue with water and start to observe the trichomes.
Week 10 – Week 7 Flowering: Auto Melonade Runtz is coming to an end soon. She showed a quick flowering time and very sweet scents, nice terpene profile – like candy and sweets. Of course, we need to cure the buds a bit for the final taste assessment. Very happy with this strain, easy to grow and generous buds covered in THC! Next week we will chop the girls.
Week 11 – Week 8 Flowering – Harvest week: Perfect strain to grow. Easy, fast and sweet as sugar – totally covered in trichomes. The plants showed very consistent and stable genetics. They are very generous with little care. This strain is almost like walking directly into a Dutch candy shop with all kinds of wine gum smells – simply perfect.
Anyone looking for a prolific, notoriously high-THC autoflower seed variety need look no further! This was a straightforward grow without any form of plant training using medium sized (7 litres/1.5gal) containers. The plants delivered a 10/10 potency strain rating with the following summary from the grower:

Skywalker Haze is a feminised seed variety popular with fans of strong Haze strains. She is a sativa dominant Haze cannabis cup winner with thick frosty buds, a famously powerful soaring high and a 9-week average bloom time.
The plant was grown in a small 2 litre / 0.4gal container of soil. The 44g / 1.5oz dry harvest showed how productive the best cannabis seed varieties are, even in small containers. She was given 4 weeks of veg growth. The bloom time of 8 weeks was a little faster than normal. Here are some comments & pictures from IndiCat.

The Skywalker Haze grow went uneventfully, and despite being grown in a small 2 litre soil container IndiCat enjoyed a 44g /1.5oz dry harvest of premium buds which he awarded a 10/10 strain rating.
Anyone looking for a productive, fast and high-quality Haze strain that can produce well even in cramped conditions should have a few Skywalker Haze seeds in their collection. In larger containers she can produce monstrous results.
