Fruit Bomb Punch seed to harvest grow log

From the very beginning, Sidekick Growie was impressed with the vigour and resilience of Fruit Bomb Punch feminised cannabis seeds:

Fruit Bomb Punch was one of the most enjoyable plants Ive grown so far. It stayed healthy throughout the entire grow, responded very well to training, and produced beautiful frosty buds.

Cooler temperatures early in the grow extended the vegetative phase but once conditions stabilised, the plants took off. After topping and LST, the SCROG screen was introduced early in the stretch phase.

The aroma quickly became a standout feature:

The smell is incredibly fruity and intense.

The buds developed excellent resin coverage and vibrant colouration. While they weren’t the rock-hard type sometimes seen in indica-dominant varieties, they still delivered a strong final yield and excellent bag appeal.

Final harvest: 365g (12.7oz) dried from two plants — an impressive return from a 280W LED setup in a compact 120×60 cm tent.

Fruit Bomb Punch post-harvest ratings

Taste and effects: Fruity with spicy notes and intense, sharp accents. Balanced high, relaxing with mildly energising qualities. Relatively quick onset, with a good duration. Theres something else I can taste, but I cant quite place it. Something citrus or lime, perhaps? […] Definitely a strain I would grow again!

Training methods and SCROG observations

Fruit Bomb Punch grown under SCROG by Sidekick Growie

Sidekick Growie achieved a strong result using a SCROG setup, harvesting 365g (12.7oz) from two plants in a compact grow tent. However, he felt the plant’s natural structure produced more leaf growth and fewer dominant shoots than he would ideally like for a dedicated SCROG grow.

The plant was easy to train, but the SCROG method resulted in significantly more leaves compared to having far fewer shoots.

While this grower preferred alternative training approaches, the results demonstrate that Fruit Bomb Punch can still perform very well in a SCROG setup. Thanks to its vigorous growth and good response to topping and LST, growers can also consider topping/FIM, or main-lining for a cleaner structure and potentially better bud density. She remains highly trainable either way.

Key tips/observations for Fruit Bomb Punch growers

Fruit Bomb Punch budshot by Sidekick Growie
  • Excellent germination and early vigour.
  • Responds very well to topping and LST.
  • Great terpene profile – keep temperatures and humidity dialled in to maximise the fruity/citrus aromas.
  • Monitor light intensity in late flower.
  • Supports both soil and hydro grows; she’s resilient even under slightly imperfect conditions.

Based on this grow, Fruit Bomb Punch appears to be a vigorous and highly trainable variety capable of producing generous harvests, strong resin production and a complex fruity terpene profile. For growers seeking a high-THC sativa-dominant hybrid with plenty of training potential, it’s certainly a variety worth considering.
