Germination rate: About 70% – I think the poor germination rates might have been due to the beans being shipped in ink pens.

Germination details: I mark my zip lock baggies with the names of the cultivars with a sharpie pen and then place the wet paper towel with the autoflower seeds inside the bag. After they shoot out a tail, I carefully place them in 1.5” Grodan starter cubes and drop them into a Grodan 4×4” (10x10cm) rockwool block after they sprout.

Light cycle: Permanent lights-on with no dark period (24 hours light per day).

Stretch during flowering: Stretch 8” (20cm) which is the reason why I had to move her from a 2x4ft (1.2m x 0.6m) tent she was sharing with another Glueberry into a 32×32” (80cm x 80cm) tent.

Type of grow room: A garage with no climate control, plants are grown in tents.

Size of grow room: She spent half her life in a 2×4’ tent and the other half in a 32×32” tent.

Number of plants: Only 1 in the tent but I ran in total 6 x Auto Glueberry OG, 2 x Auto Ultimate, and 1 x Auto Daiquiri Lime.

Type / size of pots: She grew in a 9×6” (22cm x 12cm) chunk of Grodan Hugo block (rockwool) with a 4×4” cube (10x10cm) stacked on top.

Grow medium: Hydroponics

Nutrients: General Hydroponics FloraNova Grow/Bloom as my main N-P-K.

Grow techniques: My personal 420autoflower scrog method.

Average temperature: Average was high 80’s F (around 30ºC).

Average humidity: Low RH 40’s during late flower.

Grow lights: A $109, 240-watt FarmLite LED.

Light distance from canopy: 12” (around 30cm).

I have been very busy during the holidays but finally had the time to start doing some gardening the past week. Was a little late pulling a few of them down but they should still do ok if everything goes like it should.

Just about got all of them flattened out except for the Daiquiri Lime which will be done today, sure hope she still fits in the 32×32 tent after she’s scrogged out.

Flowering stage: a record-breaking Auto Glueberry OG

Plenty of time and attention was required to get a relatively flat canopy of blooms in the SCROG system, as well as routine defoliation. This allowed 420autoflower to position the LED light for maximum effectiveness, keeping the blooms in the optical sweet spot. All this whist maintaining perfect nutrient management.

I had some extra time yesterday and spent close to 2 hours pruning two of my Auto Glueberry OG plants. Stripping 80% of the foliage not only exposed all of the main nodes that made it to the top of the canopy but also dropped the R/H more than 20%.

I did not do a very good job matching these 2 Auto Glueberry OGs up when I first flattened them out a month ago so did some rearranging last week.

They looked fine when I first scrogged them but as you can see the late bloomer on the left pre-flowered a little longer and grew out of her space.

I did not think I was doing her justice by keeping her in the 24×24 area she was growing in, so I cut her away from her tent mate, stripped her down, set up another simple hydro unit and spread her out in a 32×32 tent.

Now she has room to develop properly and blossom into her full potential.

Would have been a shame to leave that big beautiful Glueberry stuck in the small space she was in. Now she has the room to spread out and also much easier to prune and maintain her canopy with the larger tent.

Had an extra light for her but had to buy the tent… figured it was well worth the $55 to finish up a plant that should be over a pound and I did not feel bad knowing I can easily piss away $50 on a mediocre meal for the kids. lol!

The premature bloom sites you see in the middle of the canopy are the last remaining nodes that always shoot up around the 4th week of flower.

With the way I scrog I’m able to get the smallest nodes on the plant that are usually picked off or amount to nothing turn into huge kolas. Helps maximize the full potential of the plants and definitely increases yields.

It’s harvest time again! 4 of my Dutch Passion Glueberry OG were more than ready to be harvested so I spent some time over the weekend and cut them down.

The colas on all plants are huge, extremely dense, sticky, fragrant and I can’t wait to try some of it out. They were actually ready over a week ago but since each of them were still guzzling down over 2 gallons (10 litres!) a day, I decided to give them some extra time to fatten up a little more.

They all turned out big and heavy… I have 3 with 24 (60cm) bloom canopies that should be close to 400 grams each and the largest one out of the four has a 28 (70cm) bloom canopy and feels like she’ll be over 600 grams easy.

I have another Glueberry that needs at least an extra week to bulk up a bit more but she’s the biggest one out of them all and definitely gearing up to be a 700-gram plant when she reaches full maturity. Meet the Glueberries!

No heat problem here but I seem to always battle high humidity, and I prefer to be on the safe side and keep my RH (Relative Humidity) at 55% or under.

There is a lot going on in that 7 square foot tent and keeping the dehumidifier running 24/7, exhaust fan at max power and basically leaving my tent door completely unzipped is the only way I can keep my R/H even at 55%.

Hard to tell in the pics but there is a Vornado fan pointing straight down in each tent so air movement has never been an issue.

I guess these are the things we do to have peace of mind when growing plants that will be over 900 grams (dry weight) in a small tent.

It’s rare to see such well-stacked and well-grown autoflower plants. But the combined effects of pro-level hydro control, 24-hour LED light and elite autoflower genetics produced an amazing spectacle. Here are some final remarks from 420autoflower:

Dutch Passion: Auto Glueberry OG is the largest out of the 5 plants (including the other strains) I just harvested. 744 grams.

Grand total for the 5 plants was 2356 grams or 84.14 ounces (5.25 pounds).

Here are the last 2 of my Glueberries I just harvested a few days ago. It was nice being able to finally cut them free from their tents and handle them for the first time since they were flattened out a couple months ago in the SCROG.

After picking them both up the smaller pheno felt like she’will weigh in around 350 grams and the biggest one should be well over 1000 grams.

Very happy with how the largest Auto Glueberry OG turned out and had a lot of fun growing her. She was definitely a looker, and I always caught myself staring at her for long periods of time mesmerised by her beauty. Lol!

Miss her already. She was a stunning plant with a 29 canopy and over 100 huge rock hard greasy top colas on her.

She was originally flattened out in a 24×48 tent with another Auto Glueberry OG but she did not flower at the same time as her tent mate, so I cut her free from her partner and spread her out in a 31×31 tent to let her grow into her full potential… and I’m glad I did!

Calyx-leaf ratio (Easy trim/yes or no): Great! Only had to leaf strip (schwazz) 2 times compared to 3-4 times with other cultivars.

Quality (Resin/Smell/Compactness): Top shelf. Massive greasy and very dense colas

Remarks after curing: All 5 starts. Some of the best weed I have grown all year.

I just finished cleaning up the 4 Glueberry OGs I cut down a couple weeks ago and they all turned out to be heavy, 3 of them were over a pound each with the largest one tipping the scale at over 740 grams. I still have the smallest and largest Auto Glueberry OG’s growing but planning on harvesting them over the weekend.

Curious to see what the big girl weighs in at, she’s a beautiful plant with close to perfect symmetry and has a 30 canopy with over 70 main top colas on her. She’s actually ready to be cut down now but I just love staring at her and will be sad when she’s gone.

Very happy with how all the Auto Glueberry OGs turned out. And after sampling each pheno, I can give a big thumbs up on taste, terps and THC. What more can you ask for!
